Welcome Andy

We are delighted to welcome Andy Maidment fCMgr, MCMI, ICTTech MIET, MBCS to Avantis Performance. 

Andy is a highly experienced and versatile technical engineer and project manager, with over 23 years of service in the British Army delivering critical Defence outputs in complex, high-pressure environments. He brings deep expertise in networks and systems engineering, cyber security, and strategic project delivery, with a strong record of transforming capabilities and driving innovation. 

Throughout his military career, Andy led large-scale digital transformation initiatives, modernised Defence communications architecture, and directed cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, secure, and efficient communication information system capabilities. His leadership consistently drove measurable improvements in system resilience, operational readiness, and cost efficiency. 

Andy joined Avantis Performance to apply his technical and leadership expertise to developing secure, innovative, and scalable communication solutions that enhance our clients’ operational performance and resilience. He’s particularly passionate about mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering outcomes that align technology with strategic goals. 

Outside of work, Andy enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, playing board games, and going on adventures with his family.
