We’re really pleased to welcome Craig Petch to Avantis Performance as our Head of Digital Engineering.
Craig joins us with more than 22 years’ experience in the British Army, where he led mission‑critical technology, cyber and information systems across the UK and on operations overseas. His career spans the intersection of strategy, assurance and delivery, including leading large‑scale programmes, assuring highly secure environments, and managing multidisciplinary teams in demanding conditions.
Craig was drawn to @Avantis by our purpose‑led culture, strong values and practical approach. He was particularly excited by the opportunity to help clients navigate complex technology challenges while contributing to something meaningful and sustainable within a growing consultancy.
In his role, Craig is focused on strengthening Avantis’ Digital Technology capability, with a focus on the responsible and practical application of AI and emerging technologies, strong technology assurance, and horizon scanning to help our clients prepare for what’s next. He is committed to building resilient, inclusive and high-performing teams, ensuring people, process and technology work together effectively.
Originally from Birmingham, Craig places strong value on family, wellbeing and lifelong learning, and brings those principles into his leadership approach every day.
