The Opportunity
Avantis Performance is looking to take on a full or part time office manager to manage and carry out the administrative tasks that are critical to running the business. As part of our team you will enable us to deliver outstanding services to our clients and help continue the successful growth of the business.

So, what are we looking for?
We are looking for an adaptable, authentic person who has supported a small business before, with experience of book keeping, business administration and business operations. You will be well organised, an excellent communicator and capable of using Microsoft tools such as Sharepoint, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
You will be required to work remotely as well as travel into Bath as and when required.
What is working at Avantis Performance like?
As a Office Manager at Avantis Performance you will be responsible for managing financial bookkeeping, including using software such as Xero, reconciling payments, issuing invoices, following up on outstanding payments, managing expenses, and assisting with payroll. You will also support the company directors team by managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging calls.
Additional responsibilities include managing company emails and post, as well as organising company meet-ups by booking venues, managing attendance, and participating in meetings. The role also involves assisting with recruitment and onboarding, including right-to-work checks and first-day arrangements.
Furthermore, you may be required to support business operations, including monitoring audits and compliance with quality management systems, and certifications such as Cyber Essentials.
This is a varied and exicitng role and you should enjoy variety and a degree of uncertainty. You will also understand that rewarding work—in every sense of the word—comes with some risk and a bit of hard work.

Salary
As a small business we still believe we can offer a competitive salary, and we are happy to name a range. However, as we are open to range of experience and skills, our salary range also reflects that approach. We believe a salary of between £25,000 and £35,000 per annum is reflective of the skill levels we are currently looking for. We are happy to discuss part time hours and will offer a prorate salary.
